Job/Position Summary

Technical Expertise:

• Perform root cause analysis of issues based on logs/traces.
• Identify and assign severity and priority of defects.
• Check the quality of reported defects.
• Analyze and identify the correct domain for the raised defects.
• Identify duplicate tickets based on root cause analysis.
• Follow defined process guidelines for creating and maintaining test documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and automation engineers to understand and clarify reported defects.
• Perform tests for functional and non-functional requirements if needed.

Mandatory Skills:

• Expertise in defect analysis and management.
• Proficiency with trace analysis (DLT/CAN/Ethernet logs).
• Experience with automotive hardware devices (Vector, K2L, Power Supply, power matrix, etc.).
• Knowledge of automotive tools (Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, DTS Monaco, DLT Viewer, etc.).
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols (SOME-IP, SOME-IP SD, CAN, Flexray, MOST, Ethernet diagnostics UDP, UDS ISO-14229, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong experience in Automotive (Infotainment) system testing for different OEMs, regions, and languages.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of network communications.
• Strong skills in test designing, planning, and test execution.
