Job/Position Summary
Technical Expertise:
- Experience in Open Source compliance.
- Knowledge of Open Source Licenses, obligations, and license compatibilities.
- Experience in analyzing Open Source Components and licenses.
- Knowledge of Open Source Software architecture/platforms (Linux, Eclipse, Android).
- Technical knowledge of software technologies such as Java, .Net, C/C++, Python.
- Familiarity with Open Source scanning tools like Black Duck.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Knowledge of creating opinion reports based on Open Source usage using MS Office tools is an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze Open Source Licenses, obligations, and license compatibilities.
- Provide support on Open Source-related queries.
- Create FOSS obligation reports based on Open Source usage.
- Analyze audit reports generated from scanning tools.
- Prepare dashboards/reports for Senior Management on Open Source usage across the organization.
- Create documents/reports to fulfill FOSS obligations.
- Support teams to ensure correct usage of Open Source components/licenses.
