Job/Position Summary

Technical Expertise:
  • Perform root cause analysis of issues based on logs/traces.
  • Identify duplicate tickets based on root cause analysis.
  • Assign severity and priority to defects.
  • Check the quality of reported defects.
  • Analyze and identify the correct domain of the raised defects.
  • Follow defined process guidelines for creating and maintaining triaging documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and automation engineers to understand and clarify reported defects.
  • Perform tests for functional/non-functional requirements, if needed.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Expertise in infotainment system defect analysis, triaging, and defect management.
  • Proficiency in trace analysis (DLT/CAN/Ethernet logs, etc.).
  • Working experience with trace analysis of Android applications.
  • Knowledge of automotive tools such as DLT Viewer, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, DTS Monaco, etc.
  • Understanding of automotive communication protocols like SOME-IP, SOME-IP SD, CAN, Flexray, MOST, Ethernet diagnostics UDP, UDS ISO-14229, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong experience in automotive (infotainment) system testing for different OEMs, regions, and languages.
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of network communications.
  • Experience with hardware devices used in automotive testing such as Vector, K2L, Power Supply, power matrix, etc.
