Job/Position Summary

Technical Expertise:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Software Test Engineer.
• Proven track record and experience in software application testing.
• Familiarity with Agile processes.

Skills:

• Strong experience in the Testing domain.
• Proficient in Manual Testing, Test Case Creation, and Execution.
• Good knowledge of Test Automation (e.g., Python).
• Experience in Unit Testing and Integration Testing.
• Knowledge of Software Versioning Tools like SVN, GIT, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in multi-location teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop Test Specifications and execute tests for Head Unit (HU) applications and Android apps.
• Create and execute Automation Test Cases for all possible scenarios.
• Perform Manual Testing for scenarios that cannot be automated.
• Act as a QA Guide for the team in terms of static tool analysis, unit testing, and coverage.
• Manage and maintain the Test Bench setup with various HU scenarios.
• Set up the build and integration testing toolchain for HU testing.
• Enable remote access for the team to the Test Bench.
• Monitor and classify logging errors, track and report them to the appropriate team.
• Work closely with teams in Germany and other suppliers to track and report defect trends.
• Debug and support developers to resolve bugs efficiently.
• Differentiate issues between Hardware/SDK and Application levels.
• Communicate effectively with Test Houses, Test Managers, and counterparts across regions.
• Willingness to travel for on-field testing.
