Job/Position Summary
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced BIW Fixture Project/Program Manager with a minimum of 15 years in managing automotive BIW fixture projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fixture concepts, simulation, customer and delivery management, and a strong background in Catia and NX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage BIW fixture projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of fixture concepts and simulation.
- Proficiency in Catia and NX for design and development tasks.
- Ensure projects adhere to OEM and Tier 1 Line builders standards.
- Customer and Delivery Management:
- Manage customer relationships and engagement to understand requirements and deliverables.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Certification and Continuous Improvement:
- PMI certification is an added advantage.
- Promote continuous improvement practices within the project management framework.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in automotive BIW fixture projects.
- Extensive knowledge of fixture concepts and simulation.
- Proficiency in Catia and NX.
- Strong understanding of OEM and Tier 1 Line builders standards.
- Proven track record of successful project management in a PM role for the last 5 years.
- Excellent customer engagement and communication skills.
- PMI certification is a plus.
